Mostly, I've become very frustrated with gmail. I must be doing something very wrong as messages sent to me sometimes disappear after I've read them. I've tried to reread some of Jennifer's helpful info, but cannot find it in my in mail. I think I need to sit down with someone who uses it alot for 10 minutes of instruction.
I've also learned that it is very easy for Google to think your blog is spam and shut you down - and they aren't in any hurry to correct it ! For almost a week I have been waiting for Google to let me use my blog again and I've given up and started a new one so that I can continue to participate in the course. They tell you to contact them for a review, or your blog will be deleted in 20 days. I contacted them immediately, 4 days later they sent a form letter saying they apologized and my log did not seem to have spam, BUT they need to do another review. I'm still waiting.

What I hope to learn
A few things I'd like to learn from the course:
1. I hope to learn alot more about blogs and other Web 2.0 tools in order to apply them to my library work. For instance, how a blog could be used to provide book reviews for our young MD's who are new in a given area.
2. I'd like to get input from other librarians on what they are using Web 2.0 for in their libraries.
3. I'd love to get ideas on interesting jobs for former librarians/archivists. I'd like to have something started when I retire I a few years to make a little money (probably not much) and to keep from being bored
